Hatch Asia has been appointed as the executive search partner for a leading government technology and fintech organization in Kuala Lumpur. The organization specializes in offering innovative digital and financial services to enterprises and is known for it’s innovation mindset and its ability to push the boundaries when it comes to driving business performance through the infusion of embedded technology.
As part of the organization’s growth trajectory, the team is looking to identify a Corporate Finance Manager, the role will play a crucial part in driving financial strategies, managing capital allocation, and ensuring effective financial planning and analysis. This position requires a high level of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to support the company’s growth objectives.
The Challenges
:
- Develop and execute corporate financial strategies to support the organizations growth plans and optimize capital structure.
- Drive the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, to provide accurate and timely financial insights to senior management.
- Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for performance improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and provide financial insights for business decision-making.
- Lead the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and analysis for board meetings, investor relations, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
What It Takes
:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications will be a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or related roles, preferably within the technology or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and treasury functions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
- Solid understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal controls.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
