The Project & Implementation Lead will work within the Global Business Services team, collaborating closely with the Asia Operations Excellence team to facilitate the deployment of Cargowise across the organization. This role is integral to guiding the implementation process from initial planning through post-deployment support, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with company objectives. This position is crucial to driving the product pipeline forward, fostering commercial growth on a global scale.

The Challenges


  • Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in discussions between internal functions, ensuring alignment with company interests. Serve as an SME to bridge processes and requirements with an implementation approach, advising on best practices that leverage CargoWise’s capabilities.
  • Change Management: Partner with functional leaders to align scope, deliverables, and change management strategies. Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary contact for delivery needs, facilitating and coordinating stakeholder communication, driving adoption, and managing change.
  • Technical Translation: Assist business and process owners in translating concepts and requests into written technical requirements.
  • Training and User Support: Develop and deliver training programs to educate end-users on CargoWise functionality, workflows, and best practices. Provide ongoing support, addressing questions, resolving issues, and troubleshooting technical problems.
  • Performance Measurement: Collaborate with functional leads to develop KPIs that measure system performance and compliance.
  • Team Development: Build and develop a global team of CargoWise SMEs.
  • SOP Development: Create and maintain SOPs for origin and destination tariff table updates, as well as CargoWise rate management and quoting processes.
  • Post-Implementation: Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and assessments of system performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements, updates, and bug fixes.

What It Takes

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Management Information System or equivalent
  • CargoWise Professional Certified
  • Ability to multi-task, drive deliverables, meet deadlines and collaborate with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • A high level of adaptability to navigate through the complexities of the Asian market and the logistics sector. 
  • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving growth
    targets and continuous improvement.
