Today, they have extensive distribution networks and services, including air and sea freight forwarding, warehousing trucking transportation, and courier services for door-to-door delivery.
As a Regional HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to support and drive the growth and success of the organization within a specific region. You will serve as a strategic partner, advisor, and consultant to regional leaders and managers on all aspects of human resources, ensuring the implementation of best practices, compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive work environment. This role requires a strong understanding of HR principles, business acumen, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
The Challenges
- You will lead a team of Country HR Business Partners across 8 Countries in Southeast Asia
- Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with regional leaders to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies and initiatives that support and drive organizational goals.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to regional managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.
- Talent Acquisition and Management: Partner with the Talent Acquisition or external partners to ensure effective recruitment and selection processes, and support regional managers in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent. Assist in succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- Performance Management: Implement performance management processes and tools, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans. Provide coaching and support to managers to enhance performance and foster a high-performance culture.
- Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the Compensation and Benefits team to ensure competitive and fair compensation packages and benefits offerings for employees within the region.
- Employee Development: Identify regional training needs and facilitate the delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Support career development initiatives and assist in creating a learning and development culture.
- HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and employment laws within the region. Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and communicate updates to regional managers.
- Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives within the region, including restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions, by providing guidance, communication, and change management strategies.
- HR Reporting and Analytics: Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, provide insights, and make data-driven recommendations to regional leaders and HR management.
- Employee Engagement and Culture: Collaborate with regional leaders to foster a positive work environment, enhance employee engagement, and promote a diverse and inclusive culture.
What It Takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a focus on strategic HR business partnership and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in driving HR initiatives and implementing HR programs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to build relationships, establish credibility, and collaborate effectively with leaders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional certifications such as IHRP certification will be a plus
