They are hiring a Procurement Manager who will lead the brands in all procurement of food and non-food items.
The Challenges
- Responsible for the Cost of Sales Budget for both brands
- Sourcing for new products (LTO/NPD) and expanding source base (alternative sources) for both raw materials
- Drive cost savings, process improvement and sustainability initiatives, collaborating with YUM! and QSR Malaysia Procurement team to drive procurement synergy wherever possible
- Tender, RFQ, RFP and Quotation management – review and execution
- Supplier Management – Approved Supplier List, NDA, Supply Agreement, Business Review, Contingency Planning, Long Term Capacity Creation / 3-yr Sourcing Plan, Supplier & Sustainability compliance
- Liaise with QA and Marketing for new product development; liaise with suppliers on product specifications, quotations and all related documentation
- Ensure Halal certification on all raw material
- Coach team members and act as a role model for our Core Values
What It Takes
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in FMCG or food-related industries.
- Degree in logistics/ supply chain is preferred.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external
stakeholders - People Manager – working with the Procurement Team and cross-functionally
with the Planning & QA Teams as well as with Restaurant Operations.
