Hatch Asia has been selected to lead a confidential search for a Head, Corporate Sustainability for a global organization that is looking to identify a leader to champion the organization’s sustainability function. This organization has built a reputation around it’s customer centricity and operational excellence, globally.
This role will focus on working in close partnership with the executive leadership team to provide strategic direction and technical input in spearheading the organization’s sustainability agenda.
The Challenges
- Strategize, analyze, and implement sustainability-related strategies, commitments and associated policies or guidelines across the organization.
- Review ESG materiality risk analysis and develop the business case to address existing and emerging sustainability risks and opportunities that could have an impact on company’s reputation and shareholder returns.
- Establish and promote external and internal sustainability branding and communication strategies to promote and increase stakeholder awareness with respect to sustainability.
- Act in advisory and solutioning capacity to the Management and Board on relevant sustainability policies, procedures, standards and practices to ensure alignment to legislative requirements and international best practices.
What It Takes
- Degree in Business Studies / Environmental Management / Sustainability or equivalent.
- Masters’ Degree in related field is an added advantage.
- At least 15 years of work experience in the sustainability and/or environment field and in leading sustainability related strategic development programs.
- Well versed with Corporate Sustainability Reporting (CSR) internationally acceptable standards.
